Patricia A. Lynch, C.N.P

Patricia Azzarelli Lynch is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with an emphasis in women’s health. Patricia graduated in 1978 from Lewis University with a B.S.N degree and began her nursing career at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee where she worked as a labor and delivery nurse. She also spent several years in the labor and delivery unit at Riverside Medical Center. In 1987 she left Riverside Medical Center to join Westwood Obstetrics and Gynecology as clinical head nurse. Her growing interest in women’s health led her to St. Xavier University where she obtained her Masters degree in nursing in 1998. Upon completion of her Master’s degree and certification as a licensed nurse practitioner in 1998, Patricia began practicing here at Westwood Obstetrics and Gynecology.

While offering routine well exams including pap smears and breast exams, Patricia also manages basic gynecological problems offering various treatment options. Placing an emphasis on patient education, Patricia goes above and beyond to be sure that patients understand the importance of preventative care as well as providing the necessary resources for women of all ages to take control of their health and benefit from all there is to offer women today.

Patricia’s special interests include contraception counseling, menopause, hormone replacement therapy, and sexual dysfunction.
